Virtual Love

Only death
will separate me from
your embrace
and then
only partially and briefly.

I will rise
in our new reality
and
search for you
there.

Just think my name
in the barest breeze
and feel my joy
tickling the tops
of trees.

If your second incarnation
is lightning
joining earth and ozone
then let mine be thunder
rolling over Blue Ridge Mountains.

To always love is a divine spiritual gift. Loving once and then loving again does not diminish, cheat or compete with other loves or loved ones. Love is inclusive not exclusive. The permission to love beyond physical boundaries helps us deal with grief and begin healing.

The following is from a love song. I believe this creative spirit comes from the same frequency as the energy that birthed Virtual Love.

Above the sunset
Above the trees
Above the highs and lows that make up reality
Above the resting place of the body that I leave
My love will still be

From Beyond, by Amel Larrieux (Bravebird, 2004, Bliss Life)

It seems the title of this love poem should be “My love will still be,” yet, “Beyond” was chosen. This caused me to consider the overall message: the lasting truth that true love transcends all things.
