| Usiku’s dynamic, yet soothing style has been nurtured in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia and seasoned in the lively city and serene suburbs of Chicago. Through Eloquence, these become shared experiences.
As a published author, Usiku’s love of writing has been shared through the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Parent, New Moon Parenting, Rolling Out, Single Living, the Dana Literary Society and two poetry anthologies by June Cotner. He attended the University of Illinois in Chicago, IL and Concord University in Athens, WV. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
I wrote Eloquence to help people connect with themselves first and understand the connection between art, the natural world and all things. Eloquence is a rededication to that purpose.

The degree to which we align ourselves with our purposes is the degree to which we will transcend and be transformed.
Great Book! Buffalo Creek Crossing comes alive for me.

I was right the first time. You do have amazing talent. Your poetry is inspiring. I don't know what motivates you to write so powerfully but I applaud your talent.
